Previously, I met a lady who saw my artwork being displayed and selling in North Carolina. She hestitated to ask me if I may consider illustrating her children’s story. I had covered up a deep desire for years of wanting to do such a project. After two weeks, I replied that I would give my best to express her desire to complete this project. This is the first drawing being submitted. The story is about a young girl who is getting a baby brother.

I pondered and shared with the author, Mary T. Greene, an idea of a multi-cultural family. I know this could be a real family where the parents have more than enough love to give to children! Children need to be loved greatly. It does not matter the color of skin as I have placed them each in a color of the rainbow and the background has repeated the colors ever so softly. The rainbow signifies a precious covenant of God’s Great Love for mankind and He promised to never destroy the earth again. As we remember to live out and witness the next generation being raised up, parents in every culture have an opportunity to bless and to watch them receive and pass along for a 1,000 generations!
