Geary Family YMCA commissoned me to do a piece with Christ, workers and children to be placed in a special room across from their front desk. This piece will also be used as a fund raiser for their campaign for “Strong Kids.” I placed their logo on the piece and every dollar will go to support this particular YMCA. The foundational Scriptures I created this painting upon are Matthew 18:3-5; Galatians 4:28; I John 5:2 and 3 John 4. Jesus said, “Assuredly, I say to you, unless you are converted and become as little children, you will by no means enter the kingdom of heaven. Therefore whoever humbles himself as this little child is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven. Whoever receives one little child like this in my name receives Me.” Now we, brethren, as Isaac was, are children of promise. By this we know that we love the children of God, when we love God and keep His commandments. I have no greater joy than to hear that my children walk in Truth.

When our children are established in belonging and valued as a treasure, their needs are met by what we give to them consistently. Then as they grow, they can see this world as a place of opportunity to give back consistently and confidently His Great Love to others. As a result, they may develop a strong sense of becoming balanced, competent, and solution-oriented individuals. We were…They are,… who can leave this world a better place to live Life to the fullest. I believe THIS is what Geary Family IS establishing. I thank them most graciously for the one to have been chosen to create and express this theme of “Strong Kids” on canvas. Notice the colors of the rainbow above, (Promises breaking through from God’s covenant of Love), are repeated in their clothing and toys as a rich, LIVING heritage being enjoyed and given.
