This piece was started in Toledo, March 2007, when Kim Clement came to speak! I kept seeing a veil and an eagle with wings outstretched and an aerial view above the ocean. I could see the back of the eagle and felt like I was flying right along with him. I didn’t understand what I was seeing but continued to paint in the Spirit. The next evening I heard him speak, I began to see a pair of hands reaching to lift open the veil for the eagle to enter and fly into the secret places. It was as though the eagle was beckoned to come to the Lord. I began to sense a need to place and transpose the Bride of Christ on the eagle. My intention was the eagle may represent His Bride as His Victorious Secret, an intimate relationship together. Yet, I had a friend who saw the piece and told me the Bride looks like she is riding with Jesus to the Father together. I did like this version as well! I Peter 2: 4-5 was the Word the Lord gave to me for this piece. This one was completed in Columbus at a Breaking Free Men’s Conference, of which I was one of about four women present.
